Preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry, after 40 plus years of marriage; parents; sister, Shirley Prusha; and brother, Robert Eyman Jr. Delores was the first of three children born to Marie and Robert Eyman, Sr. She spent her childhood in the Brown Park area of Omaha. She married Jerry J. Tesnohlidek. They moved to Bellevue, NE, where they raised their 2 sons, Gary and Rob. As her health failed, she moved to an assisted living apartment. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, she loved being Megan, Laura and Grant Tesnohlidek’s grandmother. That joy was multiplied this past year when her great grandson, Grayson was born to Grant and his wife Jenny. Delores worked at Western Electric for several years, then became a hairdresser, continuing to serve her clients in her home salon into her seventies. She enjoyed ceramics, painting, and was well known for her Czech baking, a skill she taught to her daughters-in-law, Sharon and Nancy, and shared with family, friends, and neighbors. She was a member of Avery Presbyterian Church. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by her sister-in-law, Ann Eyman; and several nieces and nephews.

HOPKINS, Jerry D. age 72 years of Omaha, passed away at home after many treatments for melanoma. He was born in Council Bluffs to Ray C. and Ioma Hopkins.
He graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha in engineering, enjoyed rock hunting with the Nebraska Mineral and Gem Club and retired from Lucent, formerly Western Electric, at a young age. He had many interests and enjoyed the company of friends and family. He loved stories to tell, to hear, to read or to see. He enjoyed traveling, reading and conversation.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Nancy King; daughter, Jackie (Kenny) Graham; sons, Joe (Lori) Hopkins, and Nick; brother, Bob (Pat) Hopkins; sister, Linda (Floyd) Darnold; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

LaVonne R. Ostrand, 67years, of Cedar Bluffs, NE passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Fremont Area Medical Center. She was born July 18, 1945 in Beatrice, NE to Francis and Doris (Hasche) Podendorf. She grew up on farms in several locations in Nebraska and Iowa. She was a 1963 graduate of Lyons High School. She lived in Fremont for 18 years prior to moving to Cedar Bluffs, NE in 1983. LaVonne was employed by Lucent Technologies in Omaha for 30 years, retiring in 1999.
LaVonne married Don Craig in 1968, they later divorced. She married Lawrence Ostrand on December 28, 1985 in Prescott Valley, AZ.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Fremont and was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence; step-sons, Rick Ostrand of Newman Grove, NE and Jeff & wife, Natosha Ostrand of Fremont; step-daughter, Victoria Miller of Fremont; sister, Kathy Knisley of Columbus; sister-in-law, Darlene Burkholder of Augusta, GA; uncle & aunt, Dale & Lenore Weaver of Lincoln; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Funeral service, 10:30 AM, Wednesday, March 27th at First United Methodist Church in Fremont. The Rev. Greg Hall will officiate. Jack was born in Alliance, NE in 1929, one of 6 brothers. After High School, he joined the Navy and served in the Korean War as an Electrician’s Mate, which eventually led to a 35 year career at Western Electric/AT&T in Omaha. Jack and Virginia, his wife of 50 years who preceded him in death in 2005, had 3 sons and 1 daughter. He was a Scoutmaster for 10 years, mentoring numerous boys, and seeing all 3 of his sons attain Eagle Scout. Jack loved travel and the outdoors. He took his young family to 49 states in a station wagon filled with camping equipment, and taught his kids a deep appreciation for nature. He traveled to Europe with his wife, hiked the Grand Canyon at age 50, snow skied into his 70s, and rode a 3-wheel recumbent bike up until a month before his death. He is survived by all 4 of his children, Bruce (Deb), Judy Doyle (Jim), Wayne (Vickie), and Lance; and 5 grandchildren, Evan, Quinn, Kellen, Joy and Erin.

married Dawn Hoy on Sept. 21, 1974, in Ankeny, Iowa. In 1995, they moved to Arlington. He worked for
Connectivity Solutions before retiring in 2011. He was a member of the Arlington Community Church. He is survived by his wife, Dawn of Arlington; father, Phil Anson of Phoenix; mother, Marleen Meyers of Three Rivers, Mich.; brothers, Jim (and wife, Deb) Tinsley of Constantine, Mich., and Craig (and wife, Julie) Tinsley of Peoria, Ariz.; sisters, Melanie (and husband, Dean) Owens of Constantine, Dottie Tinsley of Three Rivers, Mich., and Kathy (and husband, Tony) Tootle of Prescott Valley, Ariz. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Wanda Tinsley.

Elissa Marking (Andy), Martha Omar (Erik), Renee Velinsky, and Hannah DeFreese all of Omaha. Graden
Velinsky was her only great grandchild. Mrs. Mihelic was retired from Western Electric and a long-time member
of the Field Club of Omaha. She enjoyed golf, bridge and weekly dinners with all of her grandchildren.
